The Recovery Room was started to provide quality and affordable recording to Seattle's independent music community. Inside you'll find a small live room and control area, and some very comfortable chairs. You'll also find Universal Audio and Focusrite preamps, Drawmer compressors, a collection of high-end and vintage microphones to lay your tracks down to 24 bit, 96kHz mac-based digital format. The Recovery Room is located in the Greenwood district of beautiful Seattle, Washington, within walking distance to the Library Cafe. Because I'm obsessed with buying audio gear, the equipment list will always get better. Projects include The A-Frames, Head Like a Kite, Tagging Satellites, The Spits, The Girls, New Sweet Breath, Zera Marvel, The Animals at Night, Daniel G. Harmann, Band of Horses (Mastering) Nada Surf (post production vinyl), Transmissionary Six, and a growing number of television audio / post production projects.

Rates: The Recovery Room is $350 a day, including an engineer.

News: New gear- Yamaha HS80M monitors, Neumann TLM 106 microphone, Roland TR-606 Drumatix drum machine, and much more!
